Lindos Beach features a long stretch of golden sand, surrounded by many tavernas all serving chilled drinks and local cuisine. There are sunbeds and umbrellas and even small motor boats and pedalos that you can hire.

 

The water is clean and clear and if you climb up to the top of the Acropolis, you will get a view that just can be beaten. Within walking distance of the main beach is Pallas Beach, another big sandy beach where many of the locals go. This has more of a local feel to it.

 

Sunbeds and umbrellas are available and there is a good choice of restaurants and cafes.On the other side of the village you will find St Paul’s bay and the first beach you come to is on the opposite side of the bay to the chapel. Mikros Gialos and St Paul’s Small Beach are also close, but more of a mix of sand and pebbles rather than a long stretch of sand. Both are more intimate smaller beaches.
