Tsambika beach is one of the most fantastic beaches on the island. Picture a long, wide beach with fine smooth golden sand. All around are lots of fantastic places to eat and drink, all decorated with colourful flags. There is also a beach sports centre where you can rent jet skis.

 

There is also a mini market next to the bus stop, but aside from that there really are no hotels on the beach. Nearby is a fantastic national park too.

This place is very popular with people staying in the area. The water is a stunning emerald green and just above the beach is a huge rock with the Monastery of the Virgin of Tsambika (or Tsampika) standing above it all. This is supposedly the church to come to if you are trying to conceive!
