NIGHTLIFE IN RHODES
Rhodes is renowned for its nightlife with many people travelling to the island for the party atmosphere. There are over 500 bars and clubs on Rhodes with something for everyone and the island has had a reputation for hospitality for hundreds of years. Visitors can enjoy a lively atmosphere in the towns and dance the night away, but there are quiet places to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down too.

Rhodes Old Town and Faliraki are the party destinations on the island and have a very cosmopolitan atmosphere. In Rhodes Town one of the liveliest places to go dancing are the bars and clubs around Orfanidi Street and the area around Hippocrates Square. Visitors often stay up until the early hours to enjoy the atmosphere in the Old Town.
Faliraki is also renowned for its bars and clubs and is considered wilder than Rhodes Town, attracting those who love to party all night long. In Faliraki the clubs stay open until sunrise, and younger people are really attracted to this resort. On Rhodes visitors can choose from salsa to live bands, jazz and traditional Greek music when looking for entertainment in the clubs.

Visitors to Rhodes who want a quieter style of nightlife will find romantic bars in places like Lindos and around Rhodes Town. Most of the partying starts after midnight so having drinks early is one way of enjoying the resort without the all night dancing. In summer the Son et Lumière show at the entrance to the Old Town is a lovely way to spend an evening and see the performance about the Knights of St John.

Rhodes caters to all tastes and its nightlife is renowned throughout Europe. With bars, clubs and quiet corners Rhodes is a wonderful place to enjoy at night.
